Private Rustic Cabins
Want a private cabin in the woods? Rent a cabin! Each has a unique character, configuration, and décor all its own. Guests enjoy the privacy of their own forest getaway, with all the conveniences of the Lodge and restaurant. Most of the cabins have recently renovated kitchens and bathrooms.
Each cabin has a private bathroom and the Leopold, McCafferty, and McNeil cabins, have two bathrooms. Basic kitchen pots, pans, utensils, plates, cups, dish soap, coffee maker, coffee, linens, soap and shampoo are provided. Each cabin has an apartment-size refrigerator, stove and microwave. Because of limited staff in our remote location, daily maid service is not available, but any special requests or needs are cheerfully accommodated.

Josh (Cabin 3)
Named after former owners of Hannagan Meadow Lodge during the 1960’s. The Josh cabin sleeps a maximum of five people. The cabin has a bedroom with a queen size bed, a private bathroom with a shower and two twin size beds and one twin size rollaway bed in the common area. This cabin has a full kitchen with basic pots, pans and dishes, a large wraparound front deck, a pellet stove for heating and a fireplace.

LEOPOLD (CABIN 4)
Named after Aldo Leopold, a famous author, ecologist, forester, conservationist and environmentalitst, who started to develop his views during his time studying the White Mountains of Ariziona. The Leopold cabin sleeps a maximum of four people. This cabin has two bedrooms, each with a queen size bed and two private bathrooms with showers. There is a full kitchen with basic pots, pans, dishes and utensils, a propane heater and a fireplace.

LILLY (CABIN 5)
Named after a famous Arizona White Mountains-area hunter and considered one of the most rugged outdoorsman, Ben Lilly. The Lilly cabin sleeps a maximum of six people. There are two private bedrooms each with a queen size bed, two twin size beds in the common area and a private bathroom with a shower. This cabin has a full kitchen with basic pots, pans, dishes and utensils, a pellet stove for heating and a fireplace.

MCCAFFERTY (CABIN 6)
Named after the owners from 1944 to 1969, the McCafferty family is one of the longest owners of the Lodge. The McCafferty cabin sleeps nine people and is ideal for two families or groups. There is a queen size bed in the common area on the south side with a twin rollaway and the north side has a bedroom with a queen size bed and two full size beds in the common area. There are two bathrooms with showers on separate sides of the cabin. This cabin has a full kitchen with basic pots, pan, dishes and utensils and a pellet stove for heating.

McNeil (CABIN 7)

RILEY (CABIN 10)
Named after Peter Riley, the former Clifton mayor and chairman of the 1926 Coronado Trail dedicatory celebration held at Hannagan Meadow Lodge. The Riley cabin sleeps a maximum of four people. This cabin has a bedroom with a queen size bed, a twin size rollaway and a futon in the common room. This cabin has a private bathroom with a shower, a full kitchen with basic pots, pans, dishes and utensils, a small wood burning stove and a propane heater.

WAITE (CABIN 11)
Named after the Tom Waite Family, owners from 2001 to 2010. Tom and Tessa Waite while co-owners of the Lodge were responsible for the construction of this cabin and its two neighbors. These cabins were the first new buildings added to the Lodge in over 40 years. The Waite’s did significant research on the history of the Lodge, which is now secured in digital form. The Waite cabin sleeps a maximum of four people. This cabin has a bedroom with a queen size bed, a twin size roll away and a futon in the front room. There is a private bathroom with a shower, a full kitchen with basic pots, pans, dishes and utensils, a private bath with a shower and a wood stove and a propane heater.

THIEL (CABIN 12)
Named after Linda Thiel, who with her five children and partner Jim Thudin, owned the Lodge from 1981 to 1996. The Thiel cabin sleeps a maximum of four people. This cabin has a bedroom with a queen size bed, a twin size roll away and a futon in the common room. There is a private bathroom with a shower, a full kitchen with basic pots, pans, dishes and utensils, a wood burning stove and a propane heater.

Pricing, Availability, and Amenities
Due to limited staff in our remote location, daily maid service is not available, but special requests or needs are cheerfully accommodated. We also rent out the ENTIRE PROPERTY to groups for events, family reunions and weddings! Please contact the Lodge for availability, pricing, and policies.
* Standard rates run from April 1st to October 31st and for the following holidays:

NOTE: Rates are subject to change without notice.
Cabins (not lodge rooms) require a 2-night minimum stay, however, we may be able to accommodate an additional nights stay. Please contact the lodge to inquire. Cabins require and additional cleaning fee of $35.00
Pets are not allowed on the property unless PRIOR arrangements are made through directly contacting the Lodge.
