Tips For A Great Tubing Experience
Here are some tips for having a great snowtubing experience:
- Dress in layers to stay warm and comfortable. You should wear a base layer of moisture-wicking material, followed by a insulating layer and a waterproof outer layer. Don’t forget to wear gloves, a hat, and warm socks.
- Choose the right size tube for your height and weight. The larger the tube, the faster you will go, so make sure you are comfortable on the tube you choose.
- Use the correct body position to maximize your speed and control. Lean back slightly and keep your arms and legs close to your body to create a streamlined shape.
- Stay in control of your tube at all times. Use your arms and legs to steer and brake, and avoid collisions with other snowtubers.
- Take breaks as needed to avoid getting cold or tired. Snowtubing can be physically demanding, so make sure you take breaks to warm up and rest.
- Have fun! Snowtubing is a great way to enjoy the winter weather and spend time with friends and family. Don’t take it too seriously, and remember to have a good time.
And don’t worry too much about the cold! The warm of your cabins, a hot shower, a hot meal, and plenty of hot chocolate and adult beverage are waiting for you right at the Hannagan Meadow Lodge
